Networking can be tiring and tedious for entrepreneurs, but it’s an important component of success. Today we reviewed the list of ClearGears beta users to understand the impact our networking efforts have had on customer acquisition. The ClearGears team had either an in-person meeting or prior relationship with 54% of all of our beta users.
Networking has been vital to our success. I’ve learned to step away from the computer and get out the door once a day, every day. At the very least, I schedule a call with a fellow entrepreneur for the purpose of getting advice. Advice, investment, hiring, and event emotional sustenance require other people, so you must build and attend to your network every day.
